Empowering Women and Youth Entrepreneurs Across Tanzania
Tanzania Women Chamber of Commerce (TWCC)
The Tanzania Women Chamber of Commerce (TWCC) is a membership-based non-profit organisation founded in 2005, dedicated to advancing the economic empowerment of women entrepreneurs across Tanzania. TWCC supports its members through policy advocacy, business development services, capacity building, market linkages, and access to financial resources — creating an environment where women-owned businesses can grow and thrive.
TWCC operates across Tanzania's mainland and islands, working closely with trade associations, government institutions, and development partners to promote inclusive economic participation. Its programmes have directly supported thousands of women entrepreneurs in sectors ranging from agriculture and fisheries to manufacturing and services.
TWCC's vision is a Tanzania where women entrepreneurs have equal opportunities and resources to build successful, sustainable businesses that contribute to national economic growth. Its mission is to empower women entrepreneurs through advocacy, capacity building, and strategic partnerships that open doors to markets and investment.
